Lyrics

Intro

In the heights of heaven lives God

the creator of all creatures

a mighty, but also gracious king

the one who watches me living my life.

In the good times of peace

And also when the depths of hell threaten me

once I was already on the run, horrified.

but with God I'm always strong

when i breathe out evil -

God stays with me

so I’m asking God for one thing

only one thing:

Refrain

Let me be a piece of heaven
Let me shine with you forever

Even in the darkest nights

Evil has no place to hide

I will be a piece of heaven

That’s the best decision ever

I am like a flashing light

I made up my mind tonight

Bridge

I have decided

Decided forever

I have decided

Refrain

Let me be a piece of heaven

Let me shine with you forever

Even in the darkest nights

Evil has no place to hide

I will be a piece of heaven

That’s the best decision ever

I am like a flashing light

I made up my mind tonight

Bridge

I made up my mind tonight

(repeating)

Decided forever

Refrain short

I will be a piece of heaven

That’s the best decision ever

I am like a flashing light

I made up my mind tonight
